 1) AN ADJUSTER HAS VISITED YOUR HOUSE AND GIVEN YOU THE GREEN LIGHT TO START BACK. (THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT FOR PEOPLE IN FLOOD ZONE X WITH NO FLOOD INSURANCE WHO ARE TRYING TO GET GRANT MONEY). OTHERS SHOULD CHECK WITH THEIR FLOOD INSURANCE PROVIDER TO FIND OUT WHEN TO START REBUILDING.

 2) You must get a building permit. Check your with your local building department for more details. Homeowners can do it themselves but must get a permit and use liscence Electrcians, Plumbers and HVAC contractors

3) We have been told you should have the following :

        a) 15% or less is what LSU AgCenter recommends the mositure level of all building materials should be.

        b) The Humidity level in the house needs to be at an acceptable level as listed in the links below.

4) We will require a Certification that the house can be returned to service by a Liscnensed Mold remediation contractor.
